Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Pacheco made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Negrais FC's goalkeeper Duarte Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, SC Mendes's Luís Pacheco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Armindo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Almeida in the 12th minute of the match. Negrais FC's António Resende couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Mendes. 18 minutes into the game, Joaquim Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negrais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Mendes the free kick. The supporters of SC Mendes booed when Negrais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luís Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the SC Mendes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Pacheco couldn't finish the play. If André Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Freitass short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Armindo Vieira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Duarte Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Negrais FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Porto came free, but Duarte Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Duarte Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Azevedo having to make a save. António Resende hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Negrais FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Mendes were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Freitas took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Vieira. Armindo Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Joaquim Almeida was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Joaquim Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Luís Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Azevedo having to make a save. Miguel Guerreiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. André Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Vieira having to interfere. Marco Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Vieira having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Mendes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
