In the 20th minute José Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertino Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Ferreirim got a freekick which was hit by José Cabral. After a rather tough play, Pazide's Filipe Leal got a free kick in the 29th minute. Manuel Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, José Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferreirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Figueiredo having to interfere. If José Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Jesus's late challenge caught a Ferreirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pazide fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Daniel Guarda shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 46th minute, Catarino Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ferreirim's António Pedroso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertino Figueiredo. Albertino Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Pedro Pinho took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Ramos. Vicente Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Albertino Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. António Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Albertino Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Ribeiro in the 79th minute of play forced Pazide's goalkeeper Albertino Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, José Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Albertino Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If José Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferreirim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
