In the 13thth minute of the game João Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Aradas's Sebastião Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Leão having to interfere. Sebastião Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vieira in the 26th minute of play. Emanuel Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Leão having to interfere. If João Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Luís Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Aradas. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell António Barbosa to make the kick off. Umbria FC's João Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Umbria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Bessa came free, but Luís Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Paiva hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Adolfo Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. SC Aradas's Sebastião Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Freitas in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, António Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Aradas's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
