Fernando Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Humberto Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Criacao FC and the Abadessa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Joaquim Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Melo in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Fernando Brás notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Abadessa's Hélder Esteves. Hélder Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd match minute, Criacao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Figueiredo in the 27th minute of play forced Criacao FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Marques in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leão in the 37th minute of play forced Abadessa's goalkeeper Hélder Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Brás made a kick off. A collision led to Abadessa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nuno Figueiredo hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Abadessa's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Brás came free, but Hélder Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Paredes charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Paredes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, one of Abadessa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abadessa. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Criacao FC. Fernando Valente stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hélder Esteves. 2-0. Fernando Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Brás in the 93rd minute of the match. Hélder Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Brás in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Criacao FC had won after a very even match.
