When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Brás made a kick off. Nuno Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Joaquim Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Fernandes having to interfere. After 71 minutes, António Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoio FC and the Sarnache FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sarnache FC booed when Zoio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute João Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emílio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoio FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Abel Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Fernandes, making the score, 1-1. If Alexandre Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Santos got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th minute, Fernando Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
