Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lameirim FC's Joel Henriques got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lameirim FC's goalkeeper Nuno Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Basílio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Saborosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Costa couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lameirim FC's zone, Basílio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Faria came out of the goal and Basílio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Martins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Sérgio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Costa in the 27th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Sérgio Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Afonso Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lameirim FC's Bruno Fonseca in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saborosa's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
After a defensive mix-up in Lameirim FC's zone, Basílio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Faria came out of the goal and Basílio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Basílio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saborosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Sérgio Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Faria. Lameirim FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 74 played minutes Saborosa got a freekick which was hit by Rui Vale. 75 minutes into the match, Lameirim FC's Cândido Dantas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 76th minute, Afonso Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Neves got free with Nuno Faria in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Basílio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Duarte Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lameirim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saborosa the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Henrique Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lameirim FC's Nuno Faria didn't even have to move. Sérgio Neves struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nuno Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saborosa.
