Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Cabral kicked off to start the match. Lúcio Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lucas Ferro made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Armando Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Leite. Paiagua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When António Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Barreiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Aguiar couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, SC Barreiras's Lucas Ferro got control of the ball when Lúcio Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Queirós in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucas Ferro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Ferro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Heitor Assis. After 26 played minutes, SC Barreiras's Carlos Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Leite came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Barreiras reached it. António Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. André Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. António Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game António Pinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paiagua FC's André Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Assunção was the one to do the kick off. António Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. André Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Queirós in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Ferro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Pinto in the 57th minute. Bento Assunção recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lucas Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lúcio Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Cristóvão Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Leite. Paiagua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Armando Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paiagua FC's André Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Ferro having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Bento Assunção left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paiagua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lúcio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucas Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, SC Barreiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Paiagua FC booed when SC Barreiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. SC Barreiras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
