Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bustelos's Gustavo Coimbra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gustavo Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Goucha FC's António Fernandes in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bustelos's goalie prevented a goal. Sandro Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tiago Azevedo made a huge save. Gustavo Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tiago Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Sandro Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goucha FC. If Nuno Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If António Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Gustavo Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Barbosa in the 34th minute of play. Raul Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, SC Bustelos's João Cabral made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in SC Bustelos's zone, Nuno Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Rodrigues came out of the goal and Nuno Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sandro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Goucha FC's Tiago Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Coimbra in the 53rd minute of play. Nuno Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Sandro Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goucha FC. When Nuno Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Goucha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Barbosa couldn't finish the play. SC Bustelos's Sandro Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save SC Bustelos from getting a goal against them. Delfim Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Delfim Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes SC Bustelos got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Mendes. 92 minutes into the match, SC Bustelos's goal looked a bit too open when António Fernandes came free, but Sandro Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Rodrigues having to interfere. António Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Bustelos support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
