Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fábio Queirós made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Manuel Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Ferreira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 12 minutes, Rodrigo Leiria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrada and the Golaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Leiria hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If André Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Golaes booed when Quebrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Guarda having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Fábio Queirós notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Golaes's Carlos Santarém. Carlos Santarém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Filipe Trindade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golaes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Filipe Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nuno Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Queirós in the 36th minute of play forced Golaes's goalkeeper Carlos Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Matias during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quebrada booed when Golaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Matos in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Guarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Filipe Trindade fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nuno Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Humberto Faria hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Filipe Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Golaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Trindade couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Humberto Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Mariano Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Santarém having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrada's zone, Filipe Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Guarda came out of the goal and Filipe Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Mariano Matos sped through Quebrada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Guarda. In the 92nd match minute, Quebrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nuno Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Guarda having to interfere.
