Mariano Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Diamantino Leiria made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Agunchos FC's Mariano Rocha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Filipe Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Andrade in the 43rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agunchos FC's Mariano Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Leiria in the 55th minute of play. After 62 played minutes, Agunchos FC's Oliveira Leiria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe Amaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Agunchos FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Agunchos FC's zone, Diamantino Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Rocha came out of the goal and Diamantino Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Leiria in the 71st minute of play forced Agunchos FC's goalkeeper Mariano Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agunchos FC's goalkeeper Mariano Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diamantino Leiria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Rocha having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Bessa couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Paulo Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abobeleira FC and the Agunchos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Abobeleira FC's Paulo Nascimento got a free kick in the 91st minute. Agunchos FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 93rd minute of the game, when Eusébio Cabral after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Abobeleira FC's goal. Eusébio Cabral was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
