Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Esteves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joaquim Aleixo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Amaro having to make a save. Filipe Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Andrade in the 8th minute of the match. Cristiano Miranda's late challenge caught a Chelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Miranda hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Joaquim Aleixos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Filipe Amaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Chelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Leiria came free, but Duarte Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Paiva having to interfere. Manuel Barros hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Abobeleira FC's Filipe Amaro got control of the ball when Joaquim Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Leão hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chelas FC's zone, Diamantino Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Paiva came out of the goal and Diamantino Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Diamantino Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Leiria struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Duarte Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abobeleira FC. Alexandre Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Paiva having to interfere. The supporters of Chelas FC booed when Abobeleira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basílio Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filipe Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Manuel Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abobeleira FC and the Chelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Manuel Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Abobeleira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Dantas to maneuver through the defense. If Gaspar Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joaquim Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Chelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Aleixo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Esteves in the 77th minute of play forced Chelas FC's goalkeeper Duarte Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Paiva having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Joaquim Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Basílio Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Andrade couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Duarte Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
