After a rather tough play, Entradas's Alexandre Borges got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Orbacem's zone, Jorge Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Tavares came out of the goal and Jorge Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Melo in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Paulo Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Armando Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entradas's protests and gave Armando Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Catarino Abreu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Entradas's Diogo Pinho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Orbacem. If Marco Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Entradas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luís Castro hit a great ball.

Carlos Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Carlos Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Gueifão in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Neto in the 60th minute of play forced Entradas's goalkeeper Carlos Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Anjoss short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Fernando Tavares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nuno Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Figueiredo having to interfere.
