Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Dantas took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Lanceiros's Mário Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Teixeira in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Adolfo Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lanceiros and the SC Goujoim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Queirós hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Alberto Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alberto Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. João Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Carlos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Pedroso. Carlos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Nuno Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Goujoim's Alberto Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Marques having to interfere. If Adolfo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes SC Goujoim got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Alves. Alberto Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lanceiros's zone, Adolfo Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedroso came out of the goal and Adolfo Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Adolfo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Goujoim's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Queirós to make the kick off. The supporters of SC Lanceiros booed when SC Goujoim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuno Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Lanceiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Teixeira couldn't finish the play. When Raul Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Goujoim's protests and gave Raul Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes SC Goujoim got a freekick which was hit by Raul Amaral. If Adolfo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Lanceiros's Adolfo Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Marques. That made the score 1-1 after 69 minutes of play. Nuno Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alberto Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, one of SC Goujoim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Goujoim. Nuno Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Adolfo Queirós was extremely unlucky when he, in the 99th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The SC Goujoim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Lanceiros's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Lanceiros.
