In the 7th minute, Sadoncelho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Jesus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 9th minute, Simão Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simão Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emílio Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadoncelho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alexandre Ferro 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sadoncelho's Emanuel Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Jesus in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Ferro came free, but Emanuel Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Abobreira's Emílio Pereira got control of the ball when Simão Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abobreira's Emílio Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Abobreira from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Sadoncelho's zone, Paulo Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Matias came out of the goal and Paulo Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Ferro in the 96th minute of play forced Sadoncelho's goalkeeper Emanuel Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
