Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artur Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Ouro booed when Palhagueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Artur Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Cândido Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Ouro got a freekick which was hit by Raul Nunes. In the 18th minute of the match Palhagueira got a corner. Ouro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Pedroso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Palhagueira's Afonso Pedroso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mário Vieira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bruno Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Vieira having to interfere. The Ouro fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ouro's Mariano Luz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Artur Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gil Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mário Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palhagueira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Pedroso in the 53rd minute. Palhagueira's Paulo Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Pinheiro in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Anjos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Mário Vieira came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Palhagueira's Gil Araújo. But to his dismay, Gil Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gil Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Vieira having to interfere. Ouro's Mário Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Leiria in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Artur Pinheiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Filipe Cruz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mário Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Araújo in the 86th minute of play. Mário Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Pinheiro succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Araújo in the 97th minute of play forced Ouro's goalkeeper Mário Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
