Artur Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ouro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Adelino Santarém scored to the left of an out of position Mário Vieira, making the score, 0-3. In the 88th minute João Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Artur Pinheiro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Machado. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavadoude FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
