Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Venade getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marco Veiga hit a great ball. After 12 minutes of play, SC Garfe's André Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrique Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Fernandes in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, André Mendes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 22 minutes into the game, Diogo Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Garfe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venade the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Diogo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes SC Garfe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Castro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Venade's Luís Castro to fire away a dangerous shot which Filipe Araújo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Henrique Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Lisboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipe Araújo. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. In the 40th minute André Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Fernandes in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Mendes to make the kick off. If André Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Garfe's Emanuel Cruz in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venade's goalie prevented a goal. Filipe Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Lisboa in the 60th minute of the match. Carlos Amorim hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Filipe Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jaime Carvalho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 64 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Henrique Azevedo right hand side. After having played for 68 minutes, Emanuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Garfe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Emanuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Garfe's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes, Francisco Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venade and the SC Garfe players grew even worse after the yellow card. During the 83rd minute of the match Diogo Ferreira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diogo Ferreira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Diogo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, SC Garfe's goal looked a bit too open when André Mendes came free, but Filipe Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Azevedo having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
