Gil Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Paredes. SC Poldras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Casalito's zone, Sebastião Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Campos came out of the goal and Sebastião Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Poldras's Tomás Jesus got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hugo Paredes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Casalito's Alexandre Cunha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Sebastião Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tomás Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Gonçalves in the 38th minute of the match. Álvaro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Paredes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Veiga got free with Hugo Paredes in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Paredes having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored Casalito's protests and gave José Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Casalito's José Pereira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Álvaro Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Pereira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Casalito's José Pereira got a free kick in the 60th minute. SC Poldras's André Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that André Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Campos was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After having played for 73 minutes, Álvaro Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Alexandre Cunha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Simão Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match, André Gonçalves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Campos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomás Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Casalito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
