Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Castro kicked off to start the match. Miguel Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Amílcar Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, SC Mialha's Lucas Monteiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Guarda in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílcar Ramos saved Palhas from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Lucas Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Assis having to interfere. Alexandre Torres made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Emílio Assis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Emílio Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Torres in the 40th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Miguel Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Monteiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amílcar Ramos. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Castro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Assis saved SC Mialha from getting behind. Gonçalo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Neves during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Neves hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Palhas's Bernardo Cabral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 81 played minutes SC Mialha got a freekick which was hit by Raul Brito. Palhas's Miguel Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Miguel Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Palhas defense, Miguel Guarda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílcar Ramos. The Palhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílcar Ramos should have stopped the shot. The Palhas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Mialha's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Mialha.
