The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panque FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Miguel Assunção, was totally fooled by Valinha FC's Rui Santos, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Miguel Assunção was a little too slow when Manuel Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. David Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Assunção was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Lucas Lisboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Lisboa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jorge Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes, Alexandre Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valinha FC and the Panque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Alexandre Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lucas Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Esteves was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Lucas Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Assunção having to interfere. Rogério Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Correia made a kick off. Manuel Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Miguel Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Correia in the 58th minute of play forced Panque FC's goalkeeper Miguel Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Correia in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Assunção saved Panque FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Manuel Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Dantas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Miguel Assunção stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Lisboa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Manuel Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Assunção having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Lucas Lisboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Simão Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simão Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Manuel Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valinha FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
