Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gaspar Porto's late challenge caught a SC Sabrosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Porto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grovas FC's Gaspar Porto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Jorge Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sabrosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Gaspar Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Moura in the 7th minute of play forced SC Sabrosa's goalkeeper Nuno Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Carlos Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Carlos Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nuno Lisboa made a huge save. Carlos Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Duarte Moura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuno Lisboa. The goal made the score 1-0. Carlos Simões succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 48th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Moura made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grovas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Carlos Pedroso had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Barros's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pedro Barros scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Pedroso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Carlos Pedroso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute, Afonso Mendes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jorge Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Pedroso having to interfere. Carlos Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Mendes in the 77th minute of play. Nuno Lisboa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Grovas FC's Carlos Simões. But to his dismay, Carlos Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Grovas FC's Duarte Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Mendes succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Grovas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
