Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Castro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Terreiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Ferro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albertino Alves. Terreiros FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Miguel Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terreiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Dantas having to interfere. With a little luck, Calde's Francisco Dantas got control of the ball when Mariano Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calde's Oliveira Ferro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Afonso Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertino Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calde's zone, Miguel Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Dantas came out of the goal and Miguel Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Calde's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Castro came free, but Francisco Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Santos was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Albertino Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Calde's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Andrade came free, but Francisco Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Andrade in the 58th minute of play forced Calde's goalkeeper Francisco Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Castro in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Andrade in the 73rd minute of play forced Calde's goalkeeper Francisco Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Miguel Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 78th minute, Paulo Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Francisco Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Mariano Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Terreiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Andrade couldn't finish the play. Francisco Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Calde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
