Afonso Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After having played for 24 minutes, Afonso Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moreiro FC's Lucas Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Teixeira in the 33rd minute of play. If Américo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Calde getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sérgio Cunha hit a great ball.
The wind increased when Afonso Santos made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Paulo Teixeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Moura, 1-2. Calde played a much better game than Moreiro FC and deserved their victory. The Moreiro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
