The SC Torre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jorge Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. The supporters of SC Torre booed when Saborosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Rocha got free with António Dias in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but António Dias made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Viana during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Saborosa booed when SC Torre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Lima had several of the SC Torre's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed António Dias as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Daniel Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Lima made a kick off. With a little luck, Saborosa's Adolfo Sousa got control of the ball when Jorge Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match David Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saborosa's zone, Diamantino Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Sousa came out of the goal and Diamantino Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Jacinto Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Torre's António Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. António Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Dias having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jorge Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cláudio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Torre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saborosa.
