SC Foios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Brás in the 6th minute of play forced SC Tourim's goalkeeper Filipe Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Alberto Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Carlos Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alberto Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, José Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alberto Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Simões struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Álvaro Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tourim. Filipe Borges was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and David Brás capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Brás really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Álvaro Campos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Tourim's Carlos Simões. But to his dismay, Carlos Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Álvaro Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Ricardo Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SC Foios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Sousa couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, David Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Foios's supporters rose to their feet, but David Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, SC Tourim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Borges made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Paulo Vale sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Tourim! The goalkeeper, Filipe Borges, was totally fooled by SC Foios's Manuel Sousa, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Foios eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
