Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adelino Neves made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Gandarinha got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Reis. The supporters of Gandarinha booed when SC Cadaveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gandarinha's Heitor Cabral tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vítor Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Lopes's late challenge caught a SC Cadaveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. Afonso Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Vítor Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Gandarinha's Vítor Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
In the 53rd minute, Adelino Neves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diogo Tavares, passed just outside the right post. Adelino Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Tavares having to interfere. Diogo Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Amaro in the 59th minute. In the 79th minute, Albertino Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Afonso Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Vítor Simões took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Nunes. Afonso Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 89 played minutes Gandarinha got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sá. SC Cadaveira's Afonso Freitas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gandarinha. Gandarinha's Diogo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Neves in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gandarinha's goalkeeper Diogo Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gandarinha had won after a very even match.
