Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Magalhães started the match with the kick off. João Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bernardo Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Cristóvão Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Magalhães in the 20th minute of play. Diamantino Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Gonçalves in the 22nd minute of play. SC Barroja's Bernardo Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Magalhães in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, João Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Martins. SC Barroja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luís Delgado struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Diamantino Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barroja. João Magalhães hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, SC Barroja's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Moreira came free, but Bernardo Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. Nuno Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Barroja booed when Vedor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vedor's protests and gave Carlos Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Barroja's Alexandre Amorim got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Vedor's Fernando Setúbal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If João Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Gonçalves in the 76th minute of play forced Vedor's goalkeeper Diamantino Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Nuno Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vedor's Diamantino Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Delgado in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Luís Delgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Aleixo. Vedor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Delgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Vedor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Barroja:s goal. Vedor:s Diamantino Aleixo showed great skill when he stopped Oliveira Assunção:s penalty. Diamantino Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Gonçalves in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, João Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vedor and the SC Barroja players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Vedor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Alves to maneuver through the defense. Luís Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
