If Luís Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fouto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Jorge Domingues scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Guerreiro, making the score, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Cristiano Aleixo made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Valente. Prime's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Luís Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Domingues in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Fouto's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Domingues came free, but Carlos Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Alexandre Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Prime was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Raul Resende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Valente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Manuel Gueifão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Guerreiro. Manuel Gueifão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Cristiano Aleixo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Prime was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Leite to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Vasco Vieira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 68th minute Jorge Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Valente having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Jorge Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Prime's Jorge Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fouto's Carlos Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Nascimento in the 83rd minute of play. Carlos Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Domingues in the 88th minute of play. Fouto's Vasco Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fouto's Nuno Barbosa suffered a sore foot after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 93 minutes into the game, Rui Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prime's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fouto the free kick. The supporters of Fouto booed when Prime was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
