Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filipe Valente kicked off to start the match. Vítor Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Monteiro scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Viana having to interfere. If Cristóvão Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pereiras booed when Marianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Joaquim Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marianos and the Pereiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Marianos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Bento Dantas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Viana skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Marianos's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Monteiro came free, but Vítor Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Filipe Valente notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pereiras's Emanuel Vieira. Emanuel Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Pereiras's zone, Cristóvão Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Vieira came out of the goal and Cristóvão Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pereiras's Ricardo Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Joaquim Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Antunes's late challenge caught a Marianos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Tomás Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 43 in the game by Cristóvão Moutinho from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Vieira managed to make a qualified save. Pereiras's players were relieved. Cristóvão Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Marianos's Cristiano Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Valente in the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pereiras's Joaquim Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Viana. That made the score 1-2 after 58 minutes of play. Joaquim Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vítor Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Marianos got a freekick which was hit by José Sá. Joaquim Monteiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Viana having to make a save. When Cristóvão Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Marianos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Moutinho couldn't finish the play. If Filipe Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Cristóvão Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Vieira. Pereiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Marianos's Vítor Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Marianos from getting a goal against them. When Joaquim Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pereiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Monteiro couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
