The SC Jamprestes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lourenço Pedroso should have stopped the shot. Júlio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Manuel Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Domingues during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Jamprestes's Pedro Freitas tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play SC Fiolhoso's Jaime Domingues was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 33 played minutes SC Fiolhoso got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Domingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Nogueira in the 35th minute of play forced SC Fiolhoso's goalkeeper Jorge Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jorge Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Fiolhoso's Rafael Pinheiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Paulo Ferros short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jorge Abreu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jorge Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Setúbal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lourenço Pedroso made a huge save. Júlio Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lourenço Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Nogueira went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Paulo Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Abreu having to interfere. Lourenço Pedroso was a little too slow when André Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. If Manuel Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jorge Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Abreu was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Paulo Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jorge Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Fiolhoso's Júlio Valente got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Fiolhoso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
