Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Veiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vítor Cruz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Simão Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Faro having to make a save. After 19 minutes of play, Alfornelos's Paulo Veiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Faro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Alfornelos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Amaro came free, but Adelino Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Alfornelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adelino Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regalheiras FC's Mário Henriques shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adelino Correia but with some difficulty. Cristiano Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Cristiano Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Simão Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Paulo Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfornelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Emílio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Daniel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Regalheiras FC's goalkeeper Simão Faro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Paulo Veiga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paulo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The long shot by Eusébio Gonçalves in the 79th minute really tested Simão Faro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 81 played minutes Alfornelos got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Coelho. Adelino Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Amaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regalheiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Emílio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Regalheiras FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Simão Domingues hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Domingues during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Regalheiras FC's Simão Domingues got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Alfornelos got a corner. Regalheiras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hélder Vieira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Simão Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Alfornelos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Regalheiras FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
