The supporters of Magusteiro FC booed when Bismula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Magusteiro FC's Vicente Leão in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vítor Reis's late challenge caught a Magusteiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Reis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bismula getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vítor Reis hit a great ball. When Magusteiro FC's Vicente Leão in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Rafael Miranda took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Emílio Trindade to make any attempt to save it. Magusteiro FC's Vicente Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bismula's Cláudio Lisboa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Fernando Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magusteiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Delgado to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Magusteiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Assunção having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Carlos Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magusteiro FC and the Bismula players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Fernando Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Miranda in the 79th minute of play forced Magusteiro FC's goalkeeper Emílio Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Magusteiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Trindade. Emílio Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Miranda in the 83rd minute of the match. Vicente Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
