João Faro scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mário Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Gabriel Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Vaz having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Cadafaz got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pacheco. 68 minutes into the match, Cadafaz's goalkeeper David Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Faro. Mário Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Barbosa in the 70th minute of play. Manuel Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cadafaz booed when SC Coelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Afonso Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Joel Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Coelhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadafaz the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Coelhos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! João Morais hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Humberto Maia hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
