In the 2nd minute, João Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Nevogilde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ferreira came free, but Nuno Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Filipe Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Parede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevogilde FC the free kick. Filipe Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Joaquim Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. SC Parede's Joaquim Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save SC Parede from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Filipe Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Martins. Nevogilde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marco Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nuno Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Parede. 34 minutes into the match, Filipe Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Martins. Nevogilde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nevogilde FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Resende was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Parede's players had a chance to rest. SC Parede's Afonso Resende was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nuno Martins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nuno Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ferreira in the 45th minute of play. Luís Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pacheco in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Filipe Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. The SC Parede fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when SC Parede's Marco Ferreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Domingues having to interfere. Joaquim Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute João Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Ribeiro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Joaquim Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes, Rafael Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevogilde FC and the SC Parede players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Nevogilde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nevogilde FC's Jorge Rocha got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Filipe Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Nuno Martins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Nevogilde FC's André Freitas got a free kick in the 94th minute.
