Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hélder Neves got the match started through his kick off. If Catarino Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Neves in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Abreu saved Alfrivida FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Vicente Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sintrao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfrivida FC's André Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Neves in the 21st minute of play. When Vicente Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sintrao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Magalhães couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Alfrivida FC's Catarino Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. António Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The corner ended in Cristiano Borba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sintrao FC's Carlos Sousa did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Neves in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Moutinho in the 41st minute of play. Hélder Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Abreu having to interfere. André Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Catarino Moutinho was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfrivida FC's André Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Neves in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Catarino Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. António Lopes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfrivida FC. In the 69th minute, Paulo Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute Paulo Carneiro ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised André Abreu. 0-3. Rui Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Catarino Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Catarino Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Sousa. Sintrao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Catarino Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 87th minute, Paulo Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes, Sintrao FC's Paulo Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sintrao FC reached it. André Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Magalhães in the 92nd minute. André Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hélder Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
