Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fragoso FC's Paulo Mota started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filipe Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Álvaro Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doncemil. João Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Pinto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fragoso FC's zone, Filipe Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Pinto came out of the goal and Filipe Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Alexandre Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Doncemil defense, Alexandre Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Melo. The Doncemil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Melo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mota in the 28th minute of play forced Doncemil's goalkeeper Sebastião Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Doncemil fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Fragoso FC. Domingos Delgado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastião Melo. 0-2. With a little luck, Fragoso FC's Álvaro Pinto got control of the ball when João Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Fragoso FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emílio Anjos hit a great ball. The Doncemil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fragoso FC were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Lisboa to strike the kick off in the second half. If João Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doncemil's Sebastião Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Doncemil from getting a goal against them. Filipe Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Borges in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Paulo Mota took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sebastião Melo to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, João Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álvaro Pinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 80 minutes into the match, Alexandre Machado notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Doncemil's Sebastião Melo. Sebastião Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Melo having to interfere. Filipe Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Álvaro Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fragoso FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
