Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Vieira in the 5th minute of play forced Doncemil's goalkeeper Sebastião Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Almagre's zone, Filipe Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Leiria came out of the goal and Filipe Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vieira in the 12th minute of play. If Afonso Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Doncemil getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Domingos Amaro hit a great ball. António Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doncemil's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
