Joaquim Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Domingues made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gaspar Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Fábio Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Ferro having to interfere. Lourenço Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gralhos FC's Jaime Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Vieira in the 21st minute of play. Nuno Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Jesus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. A hard shot 34 in the game by Gaspar Andrade from a close distance when the talented Nuno Domingues managed to make a qualified save. Deimaos's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Gaspar Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Deimaos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gabriel Freitas hit a great ball. Joaquim Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Jesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Deimaos's Nuno Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Jesus in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Carlos Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gralhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deimaos the free kick. In the 55th minute, Carlos Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Fábio Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deimaos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Gralhos FC's goalkeeper Jaime Ferro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lourenço Vieira. Gaspar Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Lourenço Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Ferro having to interfere. In the 64th minute Fábio Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Deimaos's Rafael Luz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Joaquim Jesus took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Domingues. Nuno Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. António Queirós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Domingues. Deimaos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute, Joaquim Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gralhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Gralhos FC's António Queirós got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jaime Ferro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Leiria's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. During the 92nd minute of the match Fernando Amorim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernando Amorim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fernando Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gralhos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deimaos for a fine match.
