Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fábio Leiria took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Francisco Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Daivoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Nuno Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Oliveira having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Fábio Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fábio Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, André Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nuno Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 27 minutes, Lourenço Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deimaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Daivoes defense, Lourenço Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Oliveira. The Daivoes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Francisco Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Domingues came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Daivoes's André Fontes. But to his dismay, André Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lourenço Vieiras short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Artur Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 41 minutes, Alexandre Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daivoes and the Deimaos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Alexandre Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Daivoes's Pedro Ramos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute André Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Leiria in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Luz, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deimaos's goalkeeper Nuno Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daivoes's Artur Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Vieira in the 88th minute of play. If Fernando Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Artur Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Daivoes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Daivoes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
