Gabriel Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Silva having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Joaquim Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sonhim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Moniz in the 29th minute of play forced SC Sergude's goalkeeper Jaime Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes SC Sonhim got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Baptista. Miguel Dantas, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jaime Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Moniz in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Simão Castro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sergude's protests and gave Simão Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Simão Castro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Simão Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Pereira having to interfere. After 80 played minutes SC Sonhim got a freekick which was hit by Rui Macedo. SC Sergude's Jaime Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Baptista in the 90th minute of play. Gabriel Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Silva having to interfere. SC Sergude's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
