Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Tavares started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Tomás Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escoura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. António Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Sérgio Tavares took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for António Luz to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Leão during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filipe Leão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Basílio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes in the game, Sérgio Tavares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without António Luz having to interfere. Nuno Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sérgio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Luz in the 35th minute of play forced Coroinha FC's goalkeeper João Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. João Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Raul Cunha notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coroinha FC's João Cabral. João Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Heitor Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Coroinha FC's Alexandre Paredes got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Luz made a kick off. Sérgio Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escoura's António Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Neves in the 55th minute of play. Sérgio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Luz having to interfere. António Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Tavares in the 57th minute of the match. Tomás Luz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Escoura's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jorge Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. António Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Pires hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Sérgio Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Heitor Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coroinha FC's João Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Coroinha FC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Escoura's Heitor Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Coroinha FC's zone, Heitor Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Cabral came out of the goal and Heitor Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Tavares's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Coroinha FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
