Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Pedregulho's Rogério Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, SC Pedregulho's goalkeeper Jaime Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Vale. After 12 played minutes SC Pedregulho got a freekick which was hit by Raul Vieira. In the 15th minute of the match Escoura got a corner. SC Pedregulho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Nogueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Escoura's Alberto Nogueira to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaime Brito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. António Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Pereira's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Escoura's Raul Cunha got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Escoura's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Dias came free, but António Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Brito having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Pereira in the 38th minute of play forced Escoura's goalkeeper António Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Rogério Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Brito having to interfere. In the 59th minute Tomás Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Heitor Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Luz took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Brito. Jaime Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Heitor Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Brito was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Inácio Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Luz having to interfere. In the 76th minute Heitor Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Pereira in the 78th minute of play forced Escoura's goalkeeper António Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Brito having to interfere. The supporters of Escoura booed when SC Pedregulho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Escoura's Tomás Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliveira Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. António Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Inácio Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pedregulho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inácio Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Escoura's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
