Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Moreira kicked off to start the match. Adenodeiro's Jacinto Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Garcia in the 10th minute of play. Adenodeiro's Humberto Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Adenodeiro's Rui Leite got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Adenodeiro defense, Xavier Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Aleixo. The Adenodeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Aleixo should have stopped the shot. If Joaquim Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Adenodeiro getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Afonso Nogueira hit a great ball. Joaquim Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Xavier Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viriato Ramos during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Viriato Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Joaquim Garcia struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jacinto Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Colmeias. When Xavier Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the SC Colmeias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Fernandes couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Moreira in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Neto saved SC Colmeias from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Afonso Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Joaquim Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Colmeias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, SC Colmeias's Joaquim Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Aleixo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Humberto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Neto having to interfere. A collision led to Adenodeiro getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fernando Nogueira hit a great ball. Jacinto Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Freitas in the 79th minute of play. Joaquim Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Aleixo having to interfere. Afonso Azevedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Adenodeiro booed when SC Colmeias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavier Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Colmeias's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
