Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Pinho started the match with the kick off. Alexandre Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Jorge Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Reis went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 9th play minutes Hélder Reis shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jorge Reis and just under the crossbar into goal. 14 minutes into the game, SC Alvaredos's Alexandre Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Alexandre Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Reis having to interfere. Hélder Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Reis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alvaredos's zone, Nuno Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Anjos came out of the goal and Nuno Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Painho's Cristiano Leite got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Painho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Alvaredos:s goal. The referee gave SC Alvaredos a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquim Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Painho's Jorge Reis. 0-4. In the 45th minute Alexandre Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Painho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Alvaredos were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Rui Rodrigues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Reis skillfully saved the ball. Hélder Reis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alvaredos. Manuel Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Freitas in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Painho's zone, Alfredo Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Reis came out of the goal and Alfredo Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Alvaredos getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alfredo Luz hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Bruno Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Freitas in the 91st minute of play. Jorge Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Reis in the 96th minute of the match. SC Alvaredos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
