Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Santao FC's Domingos Viegas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Santao FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Veiga. Pedro Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Gatinheira's goalkeeper João Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Carvalho. With his leg João Rocha managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Santao FC's Pedro Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingos Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. João Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rafael Ferro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Rodrigues in the 25th minute of play forced Santao FC's goalkeeper Rogério Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, António Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Correia. Santao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Domingos Viegas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Rocha. João Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. António Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Cardoso in the 44th minute of play forced Santao FC's goalkeeper Rogério Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell António Cardoso to make the kick off. When Gatinheira's António Cardoso in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Santao FC's Xavier Paredes got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Santao FC's goalkeeper Rogério Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Ferro. Pedro Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. António Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Correia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Ferro got free with Rogério Correia in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Correia made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Rafael Ferro sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Gatinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Viegas came free, but João Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, one of Gatinheira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gatinheira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Rodrigues during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Rodrigues hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Gatinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Viegas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. João Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santao FC. 94 minutes into the match, Gatinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Carvalho came free, but João Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
