Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Afonso Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Lima during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bento Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Viriato Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Janarde and the SC Paramia players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Amaro in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Coelho saved Janarde from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Trindade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Janarde's goalkeeper Carlos Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Amaro. Janarde's Bento Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Figueiredo went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Joel Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Coelho having to interfere. Janarde's Bento Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, SC Paramia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Figueiredo came free, but Pedro Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janarde's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
