Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Leiria got free with Nuno Moutinho in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Assis in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Gaifar getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Miguel Faria hit a great ball. After 19 minutes, David Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaifar and the SC Paranhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gaifar's David Leal got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jorge Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Assis in the 20th minute of the match. Gaifar's Nuno Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaifar's Jorge Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Santos in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Anjos during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Ricardo Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Alves's late challenge caught a SC Paranhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Gaifar got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Alves. Rui Coimbra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Henriques. Gaifar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Sebastião Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paranhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastião Assis made a kick off. Bernardo Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Leiria in the 59th minute of play forced SC Paranhos's goalkeeper Nuno Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Sebastião Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miguel Faria fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaifar's protests and gave Miguel Faria a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastião Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Henriques having to interfere. SC Paranhos's Manuel Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Moutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in SC Paranhos's zone, Nuno Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Moutinho came out of the goal and Nuno Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sandro Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Manuel Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Assis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miguel Faria was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gaifar's Miguel Faria got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Nuno Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaifar had won after a very even match.
