In the 22nd match minute, Abodaneira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Henriques to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Abodaneira FC booed when Fanheiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Cristiano Ribeiro in the 28th minute of play was well struck, but João Monteiro made a really good save at the right post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Vazs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Amadeu Mota to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the match, Fanheiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Sá came free, but João Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
