Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Miranda made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Albitelhe's Jaime Moura got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Catarino Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Martins in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Lopes saved SC Anagueis from getting behind. SC Anagueis's Paulo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, SC Anagueis's Paulo Miranda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, one of SC Anagueis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Anagueis. Albitelhe's Paulo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Miranda in the 31st minute of play. Filipe Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, SC Anagueis's goalkeeper Armando Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Catarino Assis. In the 44thth minute of the game Paulo Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albitelhe's Paulo Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
In the 53rd minute of the match Américo Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. André Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Paulo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Anagueis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catarino Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Armando Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Martins in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Lopes saved SC Anagueis from getting behind. Jorge Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Lopes having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Jorge Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Catarino Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Azevedo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Albitelhe's zone, Paulo Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Azevedo came out of the goal and Paulo Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Assis struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Armando Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albitelhe.
