Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Dias started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Eido FC booed when SC Albarrol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Aguiar in the 13th minute of play. Domingos Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Dias in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Dias in the 22nd minute of play forced SC Albarrol's goalkeeper Domingos Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Carlos Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Oliveira Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Albarrol's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When João Anjos fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Albarrol's protests and gave João Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, one of SC Albarrol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Albarrol. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Eido FC's Lúcio Macedo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Domingos Magalhães. Alexandre Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliveira Moniz's late challenge caught a SC Albarrol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Moniz helped the player get up and apologised. After 50 minutes Eido FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Anjos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vasco Abreu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexandre Pereira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nogueira in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, SC Albarrol's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Alves came free, but Domingos Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Vicente Nogueira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oliveira Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Pereira having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Vicente Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Pereira. Eido FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Pinheiro during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes SC Albarrol got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Pinheiro. In the 87th minute Carlos Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oliveira Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Albarrol eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
